MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Fast Train to Airport Monorail. DESCRIPTION: On a visit to Cologne, Mr Richard Nugent (Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Transport) made a personal inspection of the German monorail system, now undergoing tests. That a similar system could be adopted (to provide a fast service between London and London Airport) has since been described as a practical proposition. SHOTLIST: LS Monorail at station.
