- Summary
- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Royal Family in Scotland. DESCRIPTION: A real Scottish welcome awaited the Queen and Prince Philip as they arrived at Fort William, after a week’s cruise aboard Britannia, among the Western Isles. Lord MacDonald (Lord Lieutenant of Inverness-shire) received Her Majesty. Stepping ashore, from another barge, came Princess Anne and the Prince of Wales. The Royal Family were on their way to a holiday at Balmoral. And they set off on a drive to Gairlochy. At the jetty, children presented Scottish walking sticks to the young Prince and Princess.
