Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Train Crash. DESCRIPTION: Eastbourne station was completely blocked by the early morning collision, in which five people were killed, and some thirty injured. An express holiday train from Glasgow had run into an electric train, waiting in the station before leaving for London. The first two coaches of the electric train, thrown on to their sides on the platform were the point at which most of the casualties occurred. SHOTLIST: KS MS wreck. TS same. MS inside wreckage.
