- Summary
- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Cosh Calls Cops. DESCRIPTION: A shop-full of valuable goods is a natural magnet for the criminal, and, with crime on the increase, new methods to beat the burglar must be devised. These pictures show one: here is what appears to be an ordinary truncheon for self-defence. But it is far more than that, it is a self-contained burglar alarm. When the watchman presses a button on this truncheon, a warning signal is given by means of a small radio transmitter inside. This signal is received in the control room of the firm that operates this new system. Its origin is checked and nine nine nine informs the police. SHOTLIST: MS Burglar alarm (key).
