MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Miss World. DESCRIPTION: Our pictures show the Lyceum Ballroom, London, and the exciting last stages of the Miss World contest. For the judges, there was the delicate task of weighing the outstanding merits of one beauty against the perfection of another. The winner was Norma Cappagli of Argentina, a 21-year-old model from Buenos Aires. Miss Gila Golan (Israel) won second place, and Miss Denise Muir (South Africa) came third.
