MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Summer Ski Jump. DESCRIPTION: Yes, they’ve had snow in June at Wembley, for Winter sport in Summer time. The ski-tower is 150 feet high, and some of Europe’s top ski-jumpers were over for this international two day contest. The straw’s to make unhappy landings happier. With artificial snow on top. Crash-landings, in fact, were pretty frequent. Jumps of more than 110 feet were made at this meeting. SHOTLIST: LS the jump (2) men laying down straw. MS men laying down plastic material.
