- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Super Jet. DESCRIPTION: A supersonic airliner which is a Anglo-French project called Concorde. She should be airborne by 1970. Signing a joint agreement for her development and production were Mr Julian Amery and France’s Ambassador to Britain. Costing £100 million the development will be undertaken by the British Aircraft Corporation and Sud-Aviation of France. Designed around the Bristol Olympus engine Concorde will fly at 1500 miles per hour. SHOTLIST: CU model of Anglo-French supersonic airliner Concorde. CU tail. CU back of plane.
