Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Horses in Hospital. DESCRIPTION: Newmarket has recently become a centre of interest for veterinary surgeons from many parts of the world, with its Horse Hospital. Mr James Roberts is Chief Surgeon of the unit, which was opened just over a year ago. The breathing apparatus is similar to that used in Emergency Ward...but it’s a bit bigger. Operations take up to 10 hours and so far they’ve performed more than 200. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV Newmarket. GV stables. MS pan - horse out of van and into stable. GV stables.
