MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Tour Continues (In Colour). DESCRIPTION: From Wellington, the Royal Tourists sailed across Cook Strait to start their visit to the South Island. On the Duke’s programme, a flight to an Outward Bound School on Queen Charlotte Sound. The Outward Bound Trust was only recently extended to New Zealand. Sailing and learning to handle a kayak, are just two of a host of activities carried on here. Back to Britannia for the voyage south, to Dunedin the Edinburgh of the South.
