Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Glass of Fashion (In Colour). DESCRIPTION: A new collection from Norman Hartnell, the Royal dressmaker. Crystallised Violet, a chiffon evening dress, heavily embroidered with pearls, brilliants and drop crystals. Apple Jack a strikingly simple linen suit, worn with a bold and very gay silk shirt. Marble Staircase: an evening gown of cellophane lace which also features the heavily encrusted embroidery - this time in silver and crystal. Standard Rose another creation for the big occasion in silk jersey. SHOTLIST: Key scene (fade in). MS Crystallised Violet modelled. CU pan down - same. CU zoom out - same. MS Apple Jack modelled.
