MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Veteran Takes a Trip. DESCRIPTION: The ‘return of the Flying Scotsman’, with its new ‘private-enterprise’ owner Mr Alan Pegler. Her first working trip from Paddington to North Wales, since she retired from regular service had many people aboard. Stops on the way, High Wycombe, Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury.
