Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Hotel for the Hopeful. DESCRIPTION: The Royal Marsden Hospital in Surrey has many facilities which make the atmosphere much more like a hotel than a hospital. Everything is done for the patients comfort. After treatment it doesn’t all end. There’s a hairdresser (very important for the ladies) and for the men there’s the chance of a glass of beer. Every effort is made to ensure that patients enjoy their stay. At the Marsden they face their troubles squarely, but they don’t let them get on top.
