- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Tideway ‘64. DESCRIPTION: The Thames Tideway Race is one of the trickiest tests for a dinghy sailor. Over two hundred entered. The race covers an eight and a half mile course - from Putney to Tower Bridge - and then a second stage back to Putney, seventeen miles, all of which present one hazard or another, however good the weather.
