- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Man Snatch!. DESCRIPTION: An American Hercules Transport plane has been specially modified for a search and recovery role. It’s equipped with special survival gear which is dropped to a marooned man. It consists basically of a flight suit and a balloon. The idea is for the survivor to put on the suit, and inflate the balloon before releasing it at the end of a long line. The technique is designed to be used under almost any conditions. SHOTLIST: Plane specially modified for search and recovery role. Equipped with survival gear which is dropped by parachute. Air to air - Hercules transport plane. MS marooned man - fade in to CU same. MS pan flight suit and balloon. MS marooned man in suit. Ground to air shot of plane. Air to ground shot from inside plane. Ground to air shot Hercules picking up balloon. Man (dummy) being snatched into plane. Men clear rope away from inside plane. MS man on winch control. CU man checking meter. Air to ground shot man being winched in. CU pilots. MCU man being pulled aboard. MS same.
