Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Manchester Through - Football. DESCRIPTION: Pictures show Burnley’s first cup-tie at Old Trafford, against Manchester United. The final score was two-one to Manchester United. United are through to the next round. SHOTLIST: TS crowds. TS pan United kick off and storm toward the Burnley goal. TS pan United get to the area but the ball is cleared. MS pan Burnley start to attack. TS pan zoom out Burnley make a long pass and Burnley fail to net the ball. MS fans cheering. MS Burnley attack again. LS pan Burnley score. MS Burnley fans cheering. MS Pat Crerand brings the ball to the Burnley area. LS Burnley goalkeeper saves the ball. TS pan zoom out United take the ball up but the Burnley goalkeeper makes a dive for the ball and saves again. TS pan zoom out United press another attack but fail to score. MS Burnley attack towards United’s goal. MS United’s keeper Dunne leaps up and pulls a shot from out of the air. MS young United fans cheering. MS pan United move into the Burnley half. MS United playing in front of the goal. TS George Best passes across to Denis Law who kicks the ball backwards over his head to net for United. MS United fans cheering. MS Best receiving congratulations, from team mates. TS pan zoom out United attack again. TS Best passes to Crerand who scores No 2 for United. TS Law hugging Crerand. Other players mentioned in the commentary are:- Bellamy, Lockhead.
