MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: London Rubbish. DESCRIPTION: The Council Workers strike continues - and the piles of rubbish mount steadily in the streets of London. Apart from the obvious health hazard, fears that the vast heaps of inflammable material could cause havoc on Guy Fawkes Night. SHOTLIST: GV pan rubbish piled high in Berkeley Square. SV pan 2 cooks empty tea chest onto heap. CU pan rubbish including empty bottles. GV piled up rubbish pan down to mess of unswept leaves. Travelling shot past mass of rubbish on pavement in Hackney. GV blocks of flats pan to mass of rubbish on pavement. LV and LAS ditto. SBV man pushes truckload of rubbish bags, with rubbish burning in b/g. SV bags thrown onto fire. LV rubbish burning. CU ditto.
