Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Anniversary of the Berlin Wall. DESCRIPTION: Ten years have past since the Berlin Wall was erected, separating East and West Berlin. SHOTLIST: GV pan from the Brandenburg Gate to Berlin Wall today. GV Berlin Wall dividing line East to West. GV track into CU Wall. SV German women looking through hole from West side. LS shot through trees, East German guard. SV relatives waving from East side. CU relatives crying on West side. LV German from East side jumping down from window into net held by West German police. SV East German soldier running over wire and escaping into West. TV as East Germans run & escape through fence. CU pan as man escapes through barbed wire fence. CU pan as man escapes and runs through fence. TV 2 women escape through wire, 1 crashes into fence then escapes. SV pan escaped persons being helped along by relatives. GV wreaths & crosses beside wall where German people have escaped but have been killed. CU cross & wreaths. GV Berlin Wall and barriers. SV relatives running across border & meeting relatives. SV relatives greeting each other. CU ditto. CU 2 old women kissing and crying. SV cut railway line pull focus into barbed wire.
