MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Scotland V Cssr. DESCRIPTION: Scotland v Czechoslovakia at Hampden Park, Glasgow, in the World Cup Eight Qualifying Round. Scotland win 2 - 1. SHOTLIST: SV 2 captains exchanging pennants. SV ball. LV Czechs kick off right to left (in white). LV Czech No 5 Bendl loses ball to Scotland No 7 Morgan who races up field. LV Morgan shoots for goal, at same time trips over Czech goalkeeper Viktor who saves. GV pan Czech. attacking & shoots, goalie Hunter saves, clears ball, goes out to Morgan who kicks up field. SV Bremner No 4 shoots for goal. LV goalie Viktor punches ball clear. GV 1st goal scored by No 11 Nehoda. SV crowd applaud. SV Scotland attack around Czech goalmouth, Viktor saves & pushes ball over cross bar. LV corner being taken by Scot Jim Holton who heads ball into net for equaliser pan to team mates surrounding Holton. GV Scots cheering. LV Morgan taking free kick in front of Czech goalmouth, Scots player [Morgan] heads ball into net but is disallowed. 2ND HALF - SV Czech player No 12 Pivarnik shoots for goal, but lands on cross bar. GV Scotland attack, Viktor makes good save. GV pan Scotland make another attack, Viktor makes save. LV Bremner takes free kick, ball goes to substitute Joe Jordan who scores. SV crowds cheering. SV Scottish team.
