MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Beach Cleaning Service Colour. DESCRIPTION: First developed in Australia - a new beach cleaning machine demonstrated on the beach at Perranporth. The answer to oil and rubbish polluted beaches. SHOTLIST: GV tractor pushes seaweed to one side because it cannot pass through wire screen. MS old & new way to clean beach, in f/g boy picks up rubbish for 40p an hour, in b/g the M/F beach cleaner does the job in half the time. MS tractor over rubbish on beach as it passes sand and pours out of wire screen as the sand is cleaned, pan with it, & zoom in on rubbish trailer. CU rotating conical wire mesh screen. CU rubbish on beach tilt up to tractor combing towards camera. CU wire mesh screen with rubbish coming out & falling into container behind. MS tractor’s steering wheel. TS driver tries to keep straight course. CU driver. CU clean sand pouring out. MS rotating conical zoom in on container full of rubbish. GV clean beach behind. MS tractor moving between bathers. MS people on beach watching. CU rubbish in container. MS container dumps its load of rubbish in a pile. MCU driver operating container. MS pile of rubbish on sand. GV sands with tractor in b/g and pile of rubbish in f/g.
