Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Wind Tunnel Skiing. DESCRIPTION: The British Olympic Ski Team use a wind-tunnel at the Royal Aircraft Establishment to train to cope with wind resistance. SHOTLIST: MS Konrad Bartelski (GB) enters wind tunnel without skis & then puts his feet in skis which are already positioned. CU he does up his ski. CU Bartelski. MS he talks to instructor, tilt down, as he gets into the skiing position. MS Mr Reg Eyre Senior Scientific Officer gives thumbs up. MS skier in position. MS wind tunnel is started up in control room. CU wheel which Reg Eyre turns to start wind tunnel. CU Reg Eyre. MCU fan starts up. CU ditto gets faster. MS skier moves into position. CU skier.
