- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: South African Special Simon Dock Arm. DESCRIPTION: A British produced Dock Arm which does away with scaffolding and enables the operator to reach most parts of a ship’s hull, regardless of its size. SHOTLIST: LS control point on top of arm, pan along to end where a man is working, zoom in. MS man working on hull of ship. MCU control panel tilt up to see ship through window. MS along arm as it is moved up. MLS pull back from man in cage on end of arm. LS looking along arm as it swings. MLS man in cage as it is raised. Pan and zoom in to control room. MS tilt down from rail tracks which arm runs onto cage. MV man working from cage.
