Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: World Scout Jamboree - Irish Reel. DESCRIPTION: Scouts and Girl Scouts from various countries made Camp at Mount Melleray, County Waterford for an International Jamboree. In the beautiful Irish countryside the scouts were able to enjoy such activities as cooking over open fires, temporary bridge building and canoeing. From Movietone’s archives we take a brief glimpse at a camp held over sixty years ago by Lord Baden-Powell, the founder of the Scout Movement. SHOTLIST: GV pan across scout camp.
