DESCRIPTION: Girls came from all over the world to compete to be ‘The Rose of Tralee’, but to be eligible for the Competition they must have Irish ancestry. After the Beauty Contest, the Festival continues for six days with many events. SHOTLIST: MS US Army band from Heidelberg. MS Miss New York, Miss Sydney and Miss Dublin on Concorde float.
