MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Viareggio Carnival. DESCRIPTION: The large figures on the floats paraded in the Viareggio Carnival are constructed mainly with papier maché. The rivalry between the Floats builders is so great that each year the Carnival is full of large and colourful figures. SHOTLIST: GV float amid crowd.
