Summary
COI synopsis: One of Britain’s largest oil ports is right in the heart of an area of outstanding natural beauty - Milford Haven on the famous Pembrokeshire coast of South Wales. When the port was built the authorities were determined that the essential developments would not scar the landscape. Michele Brown visited the oil port to see how successful they’d been in landscaping the siting of refineries and storage tanks and how the port is run to prevent oil pollution.
