- COI synopsis: Many an awkward problem can be solved by introducing a bit of flexibility. In this issue we look at the importance of being flexible - and what flexibility can mean. Most road accidents occur at less than five miles an hour. A unique new material with the strength of steel but the flexibility of rubber is now being made into bumpers which at low speeds will take all the strain of impact.
