Summary
COI synopsis: In an ideal world, all medical problems would be preventable. As yet, that hasn’t been achieved; but medicine and its associated technology is now offering the less fortunate amongst us a new freedom and independence - a life of their own. The blood disease suffered by young Adamos meant spending weeks at a time on a drip. He now wears a simple device which allows a constant, controlled release of the drug into his system; freeing him to devote his time to the exciting experience of growing-up.
