Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Melbourne Hails Air Race Heroes. SHOTLIST: Melbourne streets and cars in procession. Dutch Plane landing as runner up in the air race. The two pilots - Moll & Parmentier say a few words. Plane belonging to the third pair Roscoe Turner and Clive Pangbourne - they say a few words. Shots of street procession - Scott and Black in car - mounted police control the crowds. Shaking hands with admirers - waving to crowds etc., Dutch runners up pass in car - smiling. Turner and Pangbourne next. The New Zealanders ?? and Walker. Melrose in next car with mother - Australian. He cannot be seen as he is surrounded by police.
