Hitler’s pledge "Give me five years, and you will not recognize Germany again" is followed by film of bombed German towns, railway stations and AA guns. A list of English bombers which did not return is seen painted on a German propeller. As allied liberators enter Dutch town, inhabitants boo Nazi collaborators. Lancasters drop supplies to hungry Dutch peasants, and return with English POWs, who are seen having their first cup of tea in England. VE Day celebrations in London.
