- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Selecting "Miss France". SHOTLIST: Two French girls have been elected as "Misses France" 1938, and they are going to represent France at the 1939 Chicago Exposition. The jury, composed of French personalities, questions the candidates, so that their voices and intelligence might be tested, and the winners are Genevieve Karquel and Marie-Francoise Lebeau.
