Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: New Ground-Crawling Machine-Gun Car. SHOTLIST: The army shows off its new two man knee high motor truck in which two machine gunners do the work of eight. This gun is officially known as the Howie Machine-Gun Carrier. It looks like a little metal raft on balloon wheels, with a stock midget auto motor hung on the rear for motive power and a 30 calibre machine gun mounted at the front. The idea is to truck the carrier up near the line of battle, unload it - a two man job with the use of ramps and send it darting in and out of the fight, or let if run ammunition to non-mobile guns.
