Summary
Mr Churchill leaves America for Bermuda aboard a Boeing aircraft and takes over the controls for part of the journey. On arrival in Bermuda, accompanied by Lord Beaverbrook, Sir Dudley Pound, Sir Charles Portal and Sir Charles Wilson, he is met by the Governor and escorted to Government House. From Bermuda Mr Churchill left by plane for Plymouth. On arrival by train at Paddington Station he is given a tremendous reception by the waiting crowds.
