Summary
Hellcats and Avenger aircraft take off from US aircraft carrier. The ship’s guns counter-attack Japanese planes who are trying to put the carrier out of action. One of the enemy planes is brought down into the sea. Manila Bay, the Navy planes’ objective, and a Jap cruiser and destroyer are seen burning after the dive bombers’ attack. Their task completed, the US planes return to the carrier. One burning plane on the deck has hoses played on it.
