- Summary
- King and Queen arrive at St Helier harbour aboard HMS Jamaica. Channel Islands turn out in force to greet them. At Government House they meet members of Jersey’s Parliament. They are then taken by Dakota to Guernsey where after touring the Island they end their visit at Candle Gardens and receive a Loyal Address from the Dame of Sark, Mrs Hathaway.
