Summary
Pathe synopsis: "Bed-bouncing boy throws bottle." "Vicious attack on map in street". "Gun-toting beatboys terrorize London." Such headlines we chose to describe what happened to a quiet Paddington street, invaded as it was by leather-clad characters recruited from the Hornsea School of Art. It was all part of a publisher’s decision to photograph a suitable picture for a new novel’s dust-jacket. And quite a decision it turned out to be.
