Summary
Pathe synopsis: Last-minute checks. Everything is ready for a demonstration which is guaranteed to shock even the best of careful drivers. Aquaplaning - that deadly wet-weather hazard, is being investigated by a Birmingham tyre manufacturer, and there’s a sinister efficiency about the laboratory tests which proves that around 80 mph worn tyres often have no gripping factor on wet roads.
