Summary
Pathe synopsis: ...and talking of spectacles, we see the skilled hand-craft that goes into the manufacture of a pair of precise specs. Half the population wear glasses and one out of every three of the others should wear them. We see the fast, fascinating process of making them and find it is an industry where automation seems a long way off. For in any pair of glasses there are parts that just must be hand-fitted or tailor-made.
