- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: At the Southend Waterguard Training School officers of the anti-smuggling branch of HM Customs are learning the tricks of a forbidden trade. See how they foil the smugglers’ ploys - suitcases with false bottoms, shoes with secrets in the sole and tennis racquets with diamond caches in the handles. Customs officers also have to have a keen nose when it comes to sniffing out hidden drugs and they need their sea legs when they board ships and search coal bunkers that hide more than black diamonds and in the galleys where innocent looking potatoes can conceal hoards of treasure. You’d be lucky to get away with it...
