MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: HMS Renown. DESCRIPTION: After a year at sea HMS "Renown" arrives back in Scotland for a re-fit. SHOTLIST: 1. HMS Renown at Forth Bridge. 2. Close-up of flags at mast head (upward shot). 3. Unloading shells, both 15" and anti-aircraft ammunition. These are lifted from hold to crane. 4. Men go on leave and are given cheery goodbye by the Captain (Captain McGrigor). 5. Scenes show Ark Royal in background and of planes leaving her deck. Men cleaning deck guns with pull-through. 6.
