Summary
Pathe synopsis: Fresh vegetables still play an important part in our eating habits though they’re finding more unusual uses for them at a beauty farm at Henlow in Bedfordshire. Salad’s the thing - but you don’t eat it, you wear it. Plaster your back with cucumber slices and your skin should benefit - they contain purifying astringents. The avocado pear is full of vitamins and oils, so mash it up and use it as a face pack. Any odds and ends left over come in useful for the salad bath, where you can laze in a herb-spiced pile of soggy greengrocery and bring colour to your cheeks by rubbing them with beetroot slices. Guaranteed to make any girl a dish.
