MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Cruise on Capetown Castle. DESCRIPTION: Scenes onboard the liner Capetown Castle as she heads towards South Africa. At the Equator the traditional ‘crossing the line’ ceremony took place. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS GV ship’s superstructure. GV SS Capetown Castle as seen from bows. Various shots of bridge, including captain at wheel. Child seated on sun-deck, adults bask in sun on sun-deck. School children walk round deck. Various shots of children’s fancy dress parade.
