MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Cruise on Capetown Castle. DESCRIPTION: Scenes onboard the liner Capetown Castle as she heads towards South Africa. At the Equator the traditional ‘crossing the line’ ceremony took place. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS GV ship’s superstructure. GV SS Capetown Castle as seen from bows. Various shots of bridge, including captain at wheel. Child seated on sun-deck, adults bask in sun on sun-deck. School children walk round deck. Various shots of children’s fancy dress parade. CU types. MS of wash looking over side of ship. Neptune climbs over ship’s rail onto deck, MS of him with Amphitrite. Various shots of crossing the line ceremony.
