MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Pakistan Troops Withdraw From Frontier. DESCRIPTION: The Pakistan Garrison is being withdrawn from the remote fort of Waziristan. SHOTLIST: CUT STORY: KS GV mountain range. GV mountain range. Elevated shots of village of Waziristan. MS of fort. Ground shot of Waziristan. SCU impression of girl’s feet in cement (Fay Ward - ENSA girl). Various angle shots of troops leaving Razmak, march along roads, tank passes along road. Troops passing over rough country, several shots. GV temporary camp (for the night). 4.5 guns being sandbagged up and also lorries etc. Tribesman shaves soldier. More marching across rough country. MS General Sir Frank Messervy watching troops on the march. He pats tribesman on the back. Camel Corps across country. Wounded on stretchers being placed on lorries and planes.
