Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Re-Union in Scotland. Royal Scots Regiment Return Home From India. DESCRIPTION: The Royal Scots Regiment arrives in Glasgow from Pakistan. At Edinburgh Station they were welcomed by the Lord Provost. SHOTLIST: KS MS Scots Pipers marching (playing) along quay. MS ship at quay side. MS Major General Hakewill-Smith addresses (silent) troops on ship. MS ship rails lined with soldiers. Soldiers disembark. Aboard train, pulling out of Glasgow station. Fade out and fade in to Waverley Station, Edinburgh, train halts. Lord Provost Murray mingles with officers and men of regiment. Cut-ins of crowds behind rails. Several shots of couples embracing, kissing etc.
