MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: King Abdullah of Transjordan Visits Jerusalem. DESCRIPTION: The Jews, having decided their position was untenable, surrendered the old city of Jerusalem. On the day before the truce King Abdullah of Transjordan visited the City and prayed in the Mosque of Omar. SHOTLIST: KS GV rooftop Jerusalem. Several shots walls of Jerusalem, shows Arabs on same, with rifles, some cleaning same. Rooftop shot of Jerusalem. GV Wall of Jerusalem. MS Arab Legion drummers in old part of city lined up to receive Abdullah. Several shots Abdullah walks through streets of Jerusalem. Walks up steps to Mosque of Omar. MS walks towards. Inside Mosque Abdullah (unseen) & followers praying. GV Palestine countryside. MS flag of Red Cross being carried by Dr Courvoisier, out of camera. Several shots of him. Trucking shot of Red Cross car. Sheep pass Red Cross car. Jews place Red Cross (truce) flag in sandbag. Several shots Jewish women marching along countryside having been released by the Arabs.
