- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Seaside Scenes. DESCRIPTION: SEASIDES SCENES - Although the Bank Holiday started with fine weather, it was destined to end with rainstorms. The beaches were deserted, people looked very gloomy and miserable as they strolled around in raincoats. COWES - With weather not at its best, Cowes still enjoyed the yachting Regatta which makes a picturesque setting irrespective of the gathering of rain clouds. SHOTLIST: KS. GV Isle of Wight beach. Ditto. Children eat ices. Children playing cricket on beach. CU man asleep. Babies playing on beach. CU woman. MS people doing gymnastics. CU type mouth open - asleep. GV clouds gathering. Various GVs deserted beaches. People walk along front in their macs. (53 seconds). COWES - Regatta in progress, various shots of yachts racing including Bluebottle, No 192, owner Princess Elizabeth. SCU yachts racing & using their spinnakers. (60 seconds).
