- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Snow Storms. DESCRIPTION: Blow cold, first - scenes that typify the biting blizzards that have been sweeping East Coast cities in the United States. In Downtown New York, it blew hot while it was still blowing cold. A big blaze in a paper factory resulted in tragedy, when six fire-fighters were killed by falling beams and masonry. SHOTLIST: Shots of streets in Boston, covered in snow. Vehicles in snow drifts, and snow ploughs clearing the streets. NEW YORK FIRE - CARD 72898 Starting in an icy blizzard followed by near zero weather, a New York City blaze became a death trap for six fire-fighters. They tragedy followed the collapse of walls of the small building which housed a paper factory. Various shots of fire, and men working to put out blaze.
