Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Mount Zion. DESCRIPTION: A great procession winds its way from Jerusalem towards nearby Zion. Something like twenty-five thousand Israelis; taking part in a ceremony., to inaugurate a year of pilgrimage. The year marks the tenth anniversary of the nations independence. The procession followed the ancient route to Zion, that stronghold captured by King David three thousand years ago, and as they reached King David’s tomb, a greeting was sounded; on the historic ram’s horn trumpets, of the Holy Land.
