- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Chunnel. DESCRIPTION: The Channel Tunnel has just hit the headlines again following the announcement that Britain and France have decided, in principle, to go ahead. Its reported that a double tunnel could handle around seven thousand cars an hour.
