Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Poultry and Cage Birds Shows. DESCRIPTION: At the Poultry Show at London’s Olympia a prize winning goose - weighing forty pounds. The heaviest turkey in the world at over sixty three pounds. After the Poultry Show was the Cage Bird Show at Olympia. Among the canaries, the Clear Yellow Norwich - a breed which started 400 years ago - the oldest breed in the show. Judging the talking birds was famous bird impersonator Percy Edwards. SHOTLIST: Various shots of chickens in coops, eggs passing through grading machine, and being packed. Also of a goose and the heaviest turkey in the world. Weight: sixty three pounds. Various shots of budgies, canaries and a parrot. Also a toucan and two macaws. Pictures also of Percy Edwards who judged the talking birds.
