Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Electro Fibralite. DESCRIPTION: British scientists have developed a new heat-resistant plastic material - Electro Fibralite. A demonstration of the durability of this material and how it could replace more costly metal parts in domestic and industrial use. SHOTLIST: SV man holding Fibrolite car exhaust system. 3 CUs man’s face, fibrolite car rocket box cover in hands exhaust silencer. SV bottles of home made wine are put into fibrolite tray which produces an even temperature, man picks up plug ready to plug in. 5 CUs plug into socket, bottles of home made wine, man holding fibrolite water cylinder for an emersion heater. Fibrolite deep frying unit, plastic plate is dropped in boiling fat immediately it buckles up, 2 shrivelled up plastic plates on a fibrolite plate.
